Terry Flora-Turner :: CEO, Licensed Property Manager
Terry Flora-Turner began working in Property Management in in the 80's. She currently lives in Bend with her husband, Gary.
Terry is the owner of High Desert Property Management. She meets with current and potential clients, leads our Accounting Department, and performs inspections. She trains our new staff members, and refers to herself as our “cheerleader” because she likes to encourage people to stretch and succeed. Terry loves to scuba dive with her husband and has been diving in Belize, Guatemala, Mexico, and Thailand. She has even seen a real sea horse! Her favorite things about living in Central Oregon are the weather and the beautiful landscapes. She loves to see the mountains, and enjoys spending time exploring outdoors. Terry teaches Community Education classes and seminars at Central Oregon Community College in Bend, for Central Oregon Rental Owners Association and at local High Schools. She will also be offering classes at our office during the Fall and Winter of 2007-08.
Amanda Flora :: Licensed Property Manager, Office Manager
Amanda Flora has been involved with the Property Management business nearly her entire life. She
began working at High Desert Property Management in February of 2002. She currently lives in Redmond and enjoys the “small town feel with the convenience of the city.” While a flight attendant for American Airlines, Amanda lived all over the United States, and has traveled to various countries. Amanda spent her last year of High School in Spain, where she was a foreign exchange student. She also made several trips to Africa as a teenager to help in an Orphange. Amanda speakes fluent Spanish.
Amanda meets with new Owners, views new properties, and performs interior and exterior inspections. She also helps set rental prices for individual properties and suggests improvements for Owners. Amanda really enjoys working at High Desert Property Management because of the people she works with and the work environment here. “We have a great team. There is no competition, everyone here is open to suggestions and is constantly looking for ways to improve what we do. We all learn from each other.”
Amanda takes time out of her busy schedule every week to volunteer in a First Grade classroom. She really enjoys spending time with the children. Amanda helps the Spanish-speaking children better understand the assignments and practice their English.
Carla Reynolds :: Accounting Administrator
Carla Reynolds began working at High Desert Property Management in September of 2004. She has lived in Redmond for eleven years and enjoys the warm summers and mild winters of Central Oregon, especially compared to Alaska, where she lived for 21 years.
Carla is our Accounting Administrator. She works mainly in the Accounting Department, entering and paying Owner bills, processing rents and billing Tenants. Carla’s favorite thing about working for High Desert Property Management (“besides everything”) is the “great people” she works with.
Carla has been married for over 27 years and has four children. She enjoys road trips, camping and time spent with family and friends. Her favorite hobby is working with yarn. She crochets and knits all sorts of items. Her specialties are in making scarves for her co-workers, and creating clothing for children.
